Eligibility criteria

12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. Minimum PCB marks are generally 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwBD. Candidate must be at least 17 years old. There is no current upper age limit.

Exam pattern

180 compulsory MCQs: Physics 45, Chemistry 45, Biology 90 (Botany + Zoology). Total marks: 720. +4 for correct, -1 for wrong, 0 for unanswered. Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours).

Cutoff trends

AIIMS Delhi and top government colleges need top all-India ranks. General-category government MBBS seats often need 600+ marks, but state quota, category, difficulty, and seats change every year. Qualifying cutoff does not guarantee a government seat.
